Tangly Studio installations

Create a unique space that is born from the intersection of organic shapes, natural materials, and traditional craftsmanship. Our installations create a special atmosphere in any space, where the aesthetics of nature and artistic self-expression go hand in hand through our creations.

We started creating installations in 2016, with our then-team Tangly Hands. Even then, a close-to-nature ethos was important to us, so in our later works we also strived to find and apply environmentally friendly solutions in the design and construction of installations.

We also use various techniques when designing our installations, and when using crochet or knotting, we try to put traditional techniques into a new context.
When choosing raw materials, we mostly use hemp, jute, or industrial end products, which are perfect for creating large-scale structures.

Organic shapes and sustainable design

The harmony of organic forms and craft techniques plays a prominent role in the design. The forms derived from crochet and macramé fit perfectly into various built environments, creating a special atmosphere.

All of the works presented here are made to order, but we also provide decorations for rent for events and programs upon request.

We created some of our installations under the name Tangly Hands, together with the design of our past teammate Fruzsina Dolnik.
